If you live in Tampa or the surrounding Tampa Bay area, then you have come to the right place to find good Veterinarians.  Our three doctors, Barry Bonnville, Terry Keene and Steve LaDue are very experienced Florida licensed veterinarians that have been treating family pets of all kinds here in Tampa for over twenty years! Our veterinarians are supported by a tremendous staff of animal lovers dedicated to providing the best possible care and customer service for you and your pets.

Keene Veterinary Hospital  is a full service small animal hospital providing medical, surgical, dental, radiological and preventative care for the family pets in our community.  Our veterinarians are capable of diagnosing and treating most conditions affecting the family pet and if we feel your pet would be better served by a specialist, we will discuss the option of referral with you.  As we are not a 24 hour facility, on occassion we may refer your pet to an emergency or critical care facility if it is indicated.  Beyond first rate pet health care, we strive to keep our hospital clean and comfortable.  We also work hard to maintain and improve our friendly and honest customer service and welcome all input on this subject from you, our client.

Browse around and look at the articles and pet videos available on our web site.  We will change these periodically for interest and educational purposes.  You can also subscribe to our newsletter which is created especially for Tampa Bay area pet owners.  In between your veterinary visits, your pet will benefit from you reading these free informative articles.  In addition we  have an online pharmacy available for our client's convenience, you may order medications and even some foods to be delivered to your home on a regular basis.  There is also a pet memorial section viewable by those who become members of the site.  This is a nice feature to use for those of us wishing to pay respects to our pets who have passed on.  If you have any questions please call us at 813-962-8499 or e-mail us and we'll promptly get back to you.  Our office is very easy to get to, and you can find directions on our Contact Us page.

At Keene Veterinary Hospital, we treat your pets like the valued family members they are.

Testimonials

Read What Our Clients Say

  • "Dr. LaDue,

Sir, I would like to extend my appreciation and a big thanks to you, on behalf of my wife Sarah; thank you for displaying such exemplary heroism towards helping our dog Brody. It is people like you that care about others, from the kindness of your heart; this is why we as American soldiers do what we do. Being on my 2nd deployment and knowing that my wife would have to do everything on her own, getting the news that our dog Brody was injured, made me so worried that my wife would pay a drastic amount for this surgery and that Brody would have to wait a long time to see a doctor.
Dr LaDue, with your expediency in seeing Brody in a little under a day after the injury, led me to write this letter of thanks. You might not know this, but the little things an individual does has a big impact in ones life. You have made my deployment easier knowing that you showed compassion and care for our dog Brody."
